  1. This came out amazing, since I’m doing Keto at the moment, I didn’t add the sugar, I added sesame oil and I substituted soy sauce with liquid amino acids and it was scrumptious. I have a finicky child and she asked me to make more today (I had so much leftovers from yesterday we had hotpot 2 days in a row).

  3. it basically tastes like Cantonese steam fish. I am not sure it‘s suitable for hotpot as a dipping sauce. I am glad it‘s your ultimate sauce, sorry but not in my kitchen.

  6. Yes, please do a hot pot video! We went to a "fusion" place and got a hot pot. Um, the flavors were confusing because there might have been too much "fusion" going on. lol

  7. Looks delicious…could almost smell the aroma! Is this more of a Chinese or Vietnamese recipe? Allan seems like a natural at cooking. Even the plate of chopped ingredients looked so neat and professional. Looking forward to more of Allan's cooking videos!
