I must try this! Love my hotpots π
Well this looked delicious however Β£1.95 for a 400g microwave meal was pretty high, double Icelands similar meals. I'd certainly eat it, just not sure I'd pay double to eat it.
bought one and thought it was awful , but they do a hearty cottage pie which is lovely
I loved me salt too , had to give it up because of me blood pressure π
'Where is it'
ππππ
I liked it pal. Just did some mushy peas with it ππ».
Hey up….you love your condiments
I wasn't expecting much when I saw the pack but sounds half decent with a bit of seasoning and done in the oven to crisp up a bit.
Love a bit of mint sauce myself, and bet this might work with a bit of beetroot or red cabbage on the side.
All the best from Manchester.
please try asdas chicken hot pot its very nice in the oven
Ever been to a AYCE hotpot restaurant? I want to hit one up now! Perfect cold weather meal.
These aldi hot pots are quite nice ….. either the lamb or the beef.
I had Iceland's chicken hot pot which cost Β£1 and I was surprised how much was in it and how nice it tasted.
What I do Gareth when making lamb get the gravy in a small pot add teaspoon mint sauce try it itβs lovely xxx

Love yer reviews Gareth and for the past couple ..it's all about the onions….I can't stand them….the wife is a chef and she tells me the base for any dish is onions…….I still love her but onions….yuck….give me a potato any time of the day..keep up the top reviews. ;o)
for the old people who struggle to cook and use the expensive delivery meals this range is ideal
i usually grab 1 on way to night shift for a quick snack i think its a bit salty but not bad
With microwaves mine is 800w and I put my. Food in 2 minutes longer then it says
Love onions but not lamb lol .

Air fryer air fryer.have u sold it.πππ
Minced lamb means mechanically recovered lamb, over priced by at least a Β£1.
I dont think these are new as I've had them last year, they are not bad but Aldi shepherds pie is good as well!!
cant beat an old hotpot.
"I've been shoppin'! I've been to Aldi! Come an' have a look at what I've NOT bought! … Let's getter bitter better light for ya!" πππ
Scotch Pies! ….. I looked high and low, and no Scotch Pies! ππ I'm disappointed!
I've got a food problem Gareth. Ever since I was a kid, I've hated Onions and Garlic. Which means, a lot of food makes me want to puke! ππ
My brother in law is a trucker, and so was my younger brother, but he's dead now. He was 49.
I love mint sauce on everything. You should try toad in hole mash and home made onion gravy. Delicious
For me mint sauce and a Yorkie pud . And onion gravy. πthat would be lovely
portion fit for a mouse it looks !
so let me see if i am right it needs mint sauce or other wise it tastes like dog food cheers mate but may i say if it tastes like shite say so dont sugar coat it… pooh is poooh
Not a fan of microwave food but after watching this I'd love try one π―
I love your channel bud but the backbone is steelworkers like myself who allow the trucks to be made trust me its way more dangerous
I see you use the mint sauce/ jelly straight from the jar …. I put a spoonfull into a ramekin dish and add same ammount of vinegar .. better taste plus you can distribute it better over your meal ..
Like the Co – Op version, To plain tasting for me…I'll add a little red wind, And spice to it. Needs xtra punch…
bet U $AUD100 that you don't add extra peas and carrots. New challenge 1 vegan meal review a week.
Hi Iβve tried lamb hot itβs ok and I agree with you but itβs easy to add to it ,I live on my own so great for me cheaper then doing your own π€π»πππΌββοΈ
I think this is one I shall try when my other half wants to eat something Iβm not keen on x

Try adding a little more Worcestershire sauce and some cumin, Gareth.
I prefer mint jelly ,I add it to my gravy ,instant mint gravy.π
This is a really nice lamb hot-pot..adding mint sauce just sweetens the deal.
Another top notch video Gareth…keep them coming mate.

they seem to over load them meals with to mush spud
Hi Gareth and thanks for doing this food review for me it looks yummy to be honest I think with a bit of brown sauce and some bread and real butter that would be a perfect winter night meal I'll pick one up and let you know my thoughts π stay safe out there from joff the trucker
They have to please the health brigade Gareth so everything you buy needs adding salt. Lol
Fair play first seen live good
The Lamb Hot Pot and Chicken Γasserole and Dumplings from Aldi are spot on, I serve these meals with Mashed Potatoes and Yorkshire Puddings.
Looks lovely Gareth, Bargain for Β£1:99 . Make some dumplings, add mint sauce. How I make mint sauce, 3 tea spoons of mint sauce out of the jar you had . Put in small jug . Add tea spoon of sugar, add half a tea cup of Boiling water .Place in fridge to cool down for an hour. Stirring well before pouring on food . Try it Absolutely beautiful. Cheers Gareth π
Can you do a Comparison between frozen and chill as there is a big price difference
