JIAOZI POT STICKER DUMPLINGS
1 lb. ground pork
1 cup chopped chives or Chinese green onions
10 to 12 chopped prawns
1 package Shanghai dumpling wraps
3 tablespoons cooking oil per batch
3/4 to 1 cup water per batch
Combine gound pork, chives and prawns with egg and mix well with chopsticks or fork. Put i tablespoon of the ingredient into each wrapper. Put water around the edge of the wrapper to seal the ingredients inside the wrapper. Heat cooking oil in pan. Heat pan at medium high. Put dumplings in pan and grill for a few minutes on each side. Put water in pan with dumplings and cover with lid. Steam 5 to 7 minutes at low heat. Take cover off to check if dumplings are cooked all the way through. Serve with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy! .
