HI Guys! Welcome to Week 3 of the Moss Family TV “Fall Food Friday” Collab! If you are coming from Moss Family TV, Welcome! I hope you enjoy the video, and consider subscribing! If you are a regular at Reens Place, Welcome back! This is a super easy crock pot chicken and dumpling recipe.It is kind of a take on my chicken and dumpling freezer meal recipe. (which I will link below) This is a very forgiving recipe, so leave out what you don’t like and add what you do!!!
In a ninja, slow cooker or crock pot add the following:
2 stalks of diced celery
1 medium onion diced
1 cup of diced carrots
2 or 3 diced potatoes
3 med chicken breasts, diced.
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 cup of water
a pinch of thyme, salt and pepper (to taste)
stir and set your crock pot for Low/6hrs or High/4hrs.
After finished cooking add:
1 cup of milk (stir and taste…add salt and pepper as needed)
drop dumplings in by the tablespoon .
Cover and cook on high 30 to 40 mins in crock pot or 15 mins on medium/Stovetop in the Ninja.
1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
pinch of thyme
cut in 3 T. margarine/butter
1 cup of milk, more if needed to make sticky
