    1 pound green beans trimmed

    2 tablespoons canola oil

    2 teaspoons chili garlic paste

    2 green onions thinly sliced – white parts only

    1 tablespoon garlic thinly sliced

    2 tablespoons soy sauce

    1 tablespoon rice vinegar

    1 teaspoon sugar

    1/4 cup water

    1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  7. I am from the deep south Georgia and there is no wrong way to cook green beans and they're just so so many recipes and they're all divine

  8. I am soooo happy I tried this. It was really delicious! I made chicken thighs to go with it. What was added after the green beans? Is the recipe posted? I guessed that it was fish sauce, but now I don't know if that was correct. It seemed darker than Mirin, but lighter than soy sauce. I did add soy sauce at the end, although it wasn't mentioned in the recipe.
