Chinese Rice & Gammon Stir Fry Recipe

Welcome to Chinese Cooking. My name is Xiao Wei, even at a early age I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in northern Chinese, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.

500g Pre Cooked Rice
150g Cooked Gammon
10g Ginger
3 Cloves Garlic
30g Coriander
1 Large Onion
100g Lettuce
1 Tsp Ground Sichuan Pepper
1 Tsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
Salt to Taste (Optional)

1. Finely chop the garlic and ginger
2. Cut the onion into small cubes
3. Finely chop the coriander
4. Thinly chop the lettuce
5. Cut gammon into small cubes
6. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in the wok
7. Place onion, garlic and ginger into the wok. Fry for a minute
8. Add Sichuan ground pepper and gammon. Stir fry for 30 seconds
9. Add rice and stir fry for 3 minutes
10. Add soy sauce and pinch of salt. Stir fry for 2 minutes
11. Add coriander, sesame oil and stir
12. Add lettuce, stir and mix well
13. Transfer onto a dish and serve
