Chinese Lobster Tail (Asian Style Seafood Cooking Recipe)

Welcome to my Asian kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.

2 Lobster Tails (around 200g in weight)
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Spring Onion
5g Ginger
80ml Pineapple Juice
1 Tsp Paprika
½Tsp Ground White Pepper
1 Tbsp Peanut Oil
Salt To Taste

1. Slice the garlic, ginger and the white part of the spring onion
2. Then grind ingredients to a paste
3. Place 500ml of water and pinch of salt in a pan, bring to the boil
4. Add the lobster tails into the pan and bring to the boil
5. Turn heat to medium once water reaches to the boiling point, boil lobster tails for 6 minutes
6. Meanwhile, heat the peanut oil in a wok
7. Place the paste made earlier into the wok, fry for few seconds
8. Add pineapple juice, paprika and white pepper, stir and cook for 1 minute
9. Add salt and stir then remove from heat and leave aside for dressing
10.Remove the lobster tails from pan, allow to cool down a little
11.Cut both sides of the soft side of the lobster, remove flesh from shell and place onto a dish
12.Place the dressing made earlier onto the lobster flesh, garnish and enjoy
