Chinese Crispy Bacon & Noodle Salad (Asian Style Cooking Recipe)

Welcome to my Asian kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.

Half Cucumber
2 Tomatoes
1 Red Onion
1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
100g Egg Noodles
150g Smoked Bacon
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tsp Malt Vinegar
Small Bunch Coriander
2 Cloves Garlic
Salt to Taste

Thinly slice the red onion and tomatoes
Chop the cucumber into thin threats
Place chopped ingredients in a mixing bowl
Finely chop the garlic
Roughly chop the coriander
Place them both in the mixing bowl
Chop the bacon into thin threads
Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a frying pan
Add the bacon to the pan
Fry for 5 minutes until golden and crispy
Remove from the pan onto a dish to cool
Boil 1 litre of water in a pan
Add the noodles and boil for 5 to 10 minutes until soft – the length of boiling time can vary depending on the type of noodles
Remove from the pan into a colander and drain
Place noodle under cold running water for 2 minutes and drain
Add salt to your taste into the mixing bowl
Add sesame oil, vinegar and bacon to the salads
Mix all ingredients together
Add the cooked noodles & soy sauce
Mix all ingredients together
Transfer to a dish and serve
