Ingredients

Hakka Noodles – 300 Gms
Sesame Oil – 2 Tbsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/37oEDA0)
Garlic
Onion – 1 no. (thinly sliced)
Green Chili – 1 no. (finely chopped)
Carrot – 1 no. (cut into julienne)
Cabbage – 1 bowl (shredded)
Yellow Bell Pepper – 1/2 no. (thinly sliced)
Red Bell Pepper – 1/2 no. (thinly sliced)
Green Capsicum – 1/2 no. (thinly sliced)
Spring Onion Whites

Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/2Oq9bKi)
Red Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/2tdMscS)
Green Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/2UjQdZt)

Spring Onion Greens
Water

Method
1. For the noodles to cook – take a pan, add enough water, add some salt as required and add Hakka noodles.
2. Once its 90% cooked take it off the flame and strain it, add some oil so that it won’t stick to each other.
3. Take a pan, add sesame oil, some finely chopped garlic, onion and green chili.
4. Now start adding vegetables like carrot , shredded cabbage, yellow red and green bell pepper, some spring onion whites. (You can add other vegetables of your choice too)
5. Then add vinegar, soy sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce and pepper powder.
6. Finally, add the cooked noodles and toss it all together. Stir fry the noodles for 10 mins.
7. Check for seasoning and add salt if required.
8. Garnish it with some spring onion greens.
9. Serve the Chili Garlic Noodles hot.

  2. This is so NOT the way to cook noodles. Over cooked soggy veggies, dripping sauces, not much space in the pan to stir the veggies enough, not much heat. Also, without MSG you will never get that savory indo Chinese taste. This preparation of yours might taste ok, but it is definitely not Hakka noodles.

  3. Came out really nice. Just 2 observations:
    1. The flavour of Garlic is a bit subdued- any suggestion how we can ensure this comes up better?
    2. Sesame oil- was a bit overwhelming. Not sure it was because I used this for the first time . Any suggestions?

  7. I made these noodles without any vegetables but just cabbage. And added haldi-mircha powder and it turned out to be great. My mom liked it for the first time made by me. And I loved it too.❤️

  8. Guys don't ever put soya sauce in the vegetables.. always put soya sauce on the noodles and then cook..

  9. ajinomoto is very harmful for body . don't eat that .and don't tell people to add this in chaumin.

  10. Mam instead of hakka noodles can we use normal noodles. (The noodles we use in chowmin) mam please answer me.

  11. This recepie was horrible. if you are looking for tasty noodles watch any other chef . I made these with so much trust in her it turns out this is the worst recepie.
